Upon this haunted eve, yonder house doth stand,

With webs that twist ‘cross bushes grand.

Skeletons dance ‘neath shadows’ shroud,

Whilst pumpkins pale in ghastly crowd.

Beware, ye souls who linger near,

For spirits roam with ghostly cheer

A bony specter rests in stone,

With grinning teeth and hat upon,

Webbed branches ’bove in ghastly shade,

Whilst idle bones in stillness laid.

Beware, for life’s breath here hath flown.

Yon bones doth rise ’neath veil so black,

’Gainst webs spun tight, the spiders track.

With hollow gaze and twisted frame,

They bid thee welcome to this dark domain.

Upon the stony bench it lay,

A serpent’s bones in foul display.

With spine askew and hollow eyes,

It waits in silence ’neath darkened skies.

High atop the hoop doth perch,

A skeleton bold in armored lurch.

With helm askew, in webs entwined,

A ghostly guard, in sport enshrined.

In wind and storm, he floats on high,

Umbrella grasped ‘neath ghostly sky.

A bony sprite in thicket weaves,

Dancing ‘midst the spectral leaves

In webs so vast, the spider waits,

Guarding yon doorway, weaving fates.

Its legs doth spread, its eyes doth gleam,

A frightful sight from haunted dream.

In shadowed boughs, this dwelling stands,

Haunted by spectres, woven strands.

Skulls and bones at entrance lie,

’Neath moonlit gaze and watchful eye.

Beware, all souls who tread this path,

Lest spirits wake with eerie wrath.

For here doth dwell the ghostly crew,

Awaiting thee, till night is through.
